Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend does not want to be here.
Here he is, alongside the band, covering Robin Thicke's huge hit "Blurred Lines." And he hates every minute of it. What gives it away?
The hand on the hip, for one. Also the totally ridiculous clapping he does just before he starts singing. The totally dead-pan expression on his face throughout the song. The fact that anyone who has ever listened to even one minute of a Vampire Weekend song will know that his voice is so much more intricate and powerful than he is showing here.
This is what we call minimal effort, folks. Ezra Koenig doesn't have time for your nonsense.
