Today the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) ruled that the Constitution guarantees a nationwide right to same-sex marriage. And everyone has something to say about this historic day.
1. The POTUS
The President came out with this tweet right after the decision was made. A long-time supporter of gay rights the Prez is pretty happy that #LoveWins under his presidency.
Probably one of the most stubborn states in the union, Texas is known for their “we do what we want” attitude. Texas attorney general, Ken Paxton, recommended in a early statement that “all county clerks and Justices of the Peace wait for direction and clarity” from his office about the meaning of the Supreme Court’s ruling. Well, it’s been decided dude.

It’s a pretty well established fact the master wizard was gay. Let’s just say he’d be partying pretty hard today...perhaps sealing the deal with his long-time boyfriend, Gandalf.
5. The Constitution
The Constitution is ready to make some changes. In the past 200 years, the Constitution has been amended 27 times. And so it’s written in history. Happy Decision Day!
