Get Retro Curls with Soda Can
There really is no limits to how you curl your hair. This is another heatless hairstyling trick I learned from my mom. She used this method back in the days when she didn't have hot rollers. If you find it hard to get retro soft waves with your curling iron, try the soda can method!
What you need:
Empty soda cans
Hair elastic bands (the non-rubber type)
Mousse (optional)
Apply a generous amount of mousse on clean, damp hair. Take a section of your hair (starting from the front) and wrap it around a soda can until you reach the root of your hair. Then secure it with a hair elastic. Repeat until whole head is wrapped. You can either air dry your hair or blowdry it before releasing the cans.
Tip: Apply mousse on your comb and run it throw your hair for better result. This method will prevent hair from feeling heavy and sticky.

Would this work with short hair?

@KristineLindsey It'll be difficult for shoulder lengthen because the soda can is too wide. If you can find a thinner soda can it'll work!
