You Deserve Mouth-watering Steak: Chimichurri Sauce
Chimichurri sauce is a finger-lickin' sauce made for grilled steaks. It's beautifully and brightly green, made with fresh oregano, minced garlic, vinegar, salt, and pepper. It brings a fresh kick to steak. You're going to want to make a heaping serving size of this, trust me. You'll be tempted to add the chimichurri sauce to everything -- not just the meat! If you thought that all steak needed was salt and pepper, you're wrong. Impress la familia and your loved ones with this meat-tastic recipe.

What You'll Need

1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
3-4 garlic cloves (minced)
1 shallot onion (finely chopped)
1 Fresno chile or red jalapeño (chopped)
1/2 cup fresh cilantro (minced)
1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
2 tablespoons oregano (finely chopped)
3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

How To Make It

1) Combine vinegar, 1 tsp. salt, garlic, shallot, and chile in a medium bowl and let stand for 10 minutes.

2) Stir in cilantro, parsley, and oregano. Using a fork, whisk in oil. Remove 1/2 cup chimichurri to a small bowl, season with salt to taste, and reserve as sauce.

How to add to meat:

Put meat in a glass, stainless-steel, or ceramic dish. Toss with remaining marinade. Cover and chill for at least 3 hours or overnight.

This will make about 2 cups of sauce.

Now you're ready to meat!
