Can you say AWESOME?

Variety reports that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D will be pursuing the Secret Warriors storyline from the comics, following the upcoming arc of the Marvel films.
"The Secret Warriors are a team of superpowered agents assembled by Nick Fury — including Daisy “Quake” Johnson (played by Chloe Bennet on the show). These special individuals are drawn from Fury’s Caterpillar initiative (which eagle-eyed viewers may have spotted an easter egg for in the season two finale) — made up of people with potential abilities who have remained hidden and thus are less likely to be compromised by their enemies."
While the show won't return for a few months, we can start getting excited right now! Will there be more powered people, more covert operations, more questions about the nature of justice and who has the right to determine what that is?

Here's what the comics looked like:

Lots of Nick Fury

While the films have portrayed the ex-Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. as a man in retirement, coordinating from the sidelines and only going into action mode when attacked, in the comics he's still pretty badass. Samuel L. Jackson is probably too expensive for the tv show's budget (he's made a few cameo appearances but nothing major), but wouldn't it be pretty amazing to see him in action?

Quake aka Daisy (aka Skye)

Yeah, she goes by a lot of names. Now that our favorite hacker-protagonist has control over her powers, we might actually get to see her use them! In the comics, Quake is an essential part of the superhuman team The Secret Warriors. The father-daughter relationship she had with Fury in the comics has been replaced by the one she has with Coulson in the show. Will her abilities change the way they interact?

Bobbi Morse as Mockingbird

While she played an antagonist in a lot of the last season, ultimately she ended up on the same side as the rest of the team. In the comics, Bobbi is a costumed hero as well as an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. (and she has a PhD in Biology... brainy and butt-kicking!). While that part of her identity isn't an integral part of the Secret Wars storyline, it would be awesome to see her in action like this! Especially after her nightmarish experience at the end of the season, this would feel like a natural shift for her character. Wouldn't it be cool to see the team dynamic shift in a way that would necessitate the appearance of Mockingbird?

How else will the Secret Wars storyline change the direction of the show?

Okay, I know we have to wait. But isn't it fun to speculate?

love the card, and I am super excited to see how this develops. It would be great to see Fury in action though, showcasing his fighting skills
Thanks @christianmordi yeah I would LOVE to see more of Fury. Especially after the car chase scene in Winter Soldier. I want at least ten more of those!
