Sunburn is not the only problem you have to tackle during summer. Bug bite, rashes and blisters are some of the beauty woes you have to face. If you already have that problem, you can make your own with these miracle products (found in your cabinets).
Problem: Bikini Rash
Solution: Chamomile Tea Bags
The worst thing that can happen to your body is when you get a burn. Razor burn is the badest of them all, especially when you're about to hit the pool. For a quick cure, steep 2-3 chamomile tea bags in hot water. Then let the tea bags cool in the freezer for 10-15 minutes. Finally, place the bags on rash spots to calm and soothe skin. Also, don't waste the tea. Chamomile is good for the soul.
Solution: Aloe Vera
All of you know this old remedy, but this trick will heal it even faster. Pour the gel in an ice cube tray and pop it in the freezer before you hit the beach. When you return, take it out and grab a few cube to spot-treat minor burns.
Deos are not only for your pits. You can avoid blisters by swiping deodorant anywhere a strap might pinch or rub against the skin. Why this work? Antiperspirant keeps moisture away. Minimal moisture = minimal blisters.
Problem: Bug Bites
Just got a bug bite? Here's a quick fix to keep your mind off the itch. Squeeze mint or peppermint toothpaste on your bite(s). This provides an instant cooling sensation and once you wash it off apply an antibacterial solution like tea tree oil or witch hazel to heal it.
