Hello, Latino Food community! I would like to introduce myself. :) :) I've been posting quite a bit of cards for the Latino Food community, and I am very happy to see so many people lurking. But I want to share some things about me! My name is Aly and I am Puerto Rican and Black. I am *MUMBBBLEEE* years young. Miami is my home, so I am exposed to a variety of authentic Latin American and Caribbean foods. I am a foodie in every sense of the word -- I love everything from meat platters to vegan, gluten-free dishes. I am always on the hunt for new recipes, new dishes, new ways to preparing everyday foods. I am super, duper excited to be a moderator for the Latino Food community. And that we're able to see the community grow in just a short amount of time. But I want all of you to join me! Let's make sure the world knows how freakin' awesome, and diverse Latin food is.

I also want to thank all of you who are the first, current members of the Latino Food community! And all of those who continue to roll into one of the coolest communities on Vingle.

I just discovered this community. I had no idea about it. My family is super mixed and we cooking traditional Latin food passed down in my family is what we do. I can't wait to find new ways to cook stuff and share some of my recipes....that my abuela will allow me too lol. She's the keeper if the food secrets lol

Oh yesss! You like the good stuff. Haha now I am hungry too. I can so go for arroz con pollo right now. I like to cook foods for other people, but if it's just for me -- I am the same way. I make a lot of soups and things I can make with very little effort. @EasternShell
