Watch your back Drake, Carrie Underwood’s got bars.
Last week the country singer headlined the Big Barrel Country Music Festival in Dover. During the set, Carrie gave concert attendees a treat with her rap mash up of Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” and her own song of the same name.
I respect the fact that Carrie Underwood is not afraid to show off her versatility musically. This isn’t the first time that Carrie has dipped into the rap world, as she let loose a couple bars one time from “The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” theme song (video #2 on this card.)
It’s clear she has a love for the hip-hop culture, I would love to hear a full studio rap verse from Carrie on a track.
Carrie vs. Iggy rap battle. Go go go go.
Yeah I feel you on that one, a lot of people say country and blues are very close to rap, I guess I need to listen to a bit more country music.. When I was a kid my babysitter listened to it ALL DAY and ruined it for me when I got older. Maybe I should give it a second chance
This was really cool, I had no idea! I'm surprised, she's a pop/country singer... guess it shows you can't judge a book by its genre?
I pretty much only listen to Willie Nelson so I don't really see the similarity... but I'm clearly no expert! Let me know if you discover anything good?
