This isn't going to taste like your grandma's biscuits and gravy (no matter how much you wish it would) but for a good trail meal when you're just over-nighting and don't' mind bringing the stuff, this is a pretty good option!
Now, this guy used something I'd never even heard of before: shelf stable bacon! Whaaat? I'm guessing its like jerky but I haven't had it before so now I need to look into it. If you have the resources (or are car camping) you might be able to use actual meat, but I think this recipe looks simple and delicious as is!!!
Let me know if you've ever tried this mysterious shelf bacon....
