Get with the social media trends, guys! July 6th has been named National Fried Chicken Day in the United States, and I am so excited for it. Next to National Cheeseburger Day, this is the best made-up holiday EVER. I am always craving fried chicken, so I am excited to write this card today!
To celebrate National Fried Chicken, I'd like to introduce you some the most insane fried chicken eats. Yay America!

KFC Double Down

This is a breadless chicken sandwich from KFC that's made with sizzling bacon, two types of melted cheese, and Colonel's secret sauce -- in between two chicken filets.

Donut Fried Chicken Sandwich

This sandwich is made and sold at Fat Sandwich Company. This sandwich is a fried chicken patty with American cheese on a glazed donut bun. They are located at in Champaign, IL.

Fried Chicken Cake

This cake was created by baker Bree Miller, located in Los Angeles. The cake is a cornbread layer cake that has been iced with mash potatoes, topped with fried chicken, and drizzled with gravy.

Red Velvet Battered Fried Chicken

I love red velvet cake, and I can never get enough of fried chicken. I definitely need to try this concoction. There are several recipes out there for a red velvet battered fried chicken, which are ridiculously easy to make. I'll write a card on this, soon! . ;)

Fried Chicken "Hotdog"

Instead of a beef link, how about a crispy fried chicken between a hotdog bun, instead?
Dress that hot chicken with thick cuts of bacon, honey mustard, and shredded cheese.
