Shows to Help You Unwind After a Long Day At Work
Working is tough. Whether you like your job or not, sitting at a desk from 9-5 can wear anyone out. When you finally leave work and survive the long commute home, you collapse on your bed and watch...what??? You've been using your brain all day and the last thing you want to do is keep up with all the Game of Thrones characters or Lost's plot. Turn to these mindless TV shows for entertainment that helps you unwind after a long day.
Workaholics might sound like it's about work, but not to worry, it's about pretty much everything except work. The show is hilariously uncomplicated. The antics of three unproductive, idiotic friends will make you feel better about how much stuff you got done at work that day.
Sex and the City is the perfect mindless TV show because all you have to remember is which guys the four girls are dating at the moment. Samantha's vulgarity and Miranda's snarky comments will make you laugh, while Carrie and Charlotte's man drama will keep you interested.
If you're into crime shows, but are looking for one a little less complicated than True Detective or Breaking Bad, Psych is a great after work show. It's light-hearted and funny, but still has a little drama as Shawn and Gus solve a different mystery in every episode. Plus, watching Dule Hill do anything will relax you.
Now that the entire series is on Netflix, Friends is probably one of the easiest shows to binge-watch. Nothing too complicated here, just a couple of friends hanging out and navigating their relationships and careers. It's carefree and funny, but none of the jokes are too complicated that you'll be bummed if you miss them.
There you go, now you have "plans" after work today! What other shows do you guys like unwinding with after work?

@LauraFisher, me too! I wished they had continued making more shows. I hear that Shawn and Juliet are married or something in real life.

@chandnip804, no way!! I had no idea they were together in real life, that makes their relationship on the show so much better.
