It's happened to me way too many times to count. You pick out the perfect pair of jeans in a kick-ass wash. You wear them. And, because you are a normal hygienic human being, you throw them in the wash. When you pull your jeans out of the wash, you notice that they have faded — they aren't the same kick-ass shade they were when you bought them. Well, damn. Don't worry, I've got you covered with an easy trick to keep your jeans from fading in the wash.
Okay, yes, it sounds really weird, but it works! During the final rinse cycle of your laundry, pour in 1/2 cup of distilled white vinegar. The vinegar will help keep the dye in your jeans and will help prevent your jeans from fading in the wash!
