Tiffany Blue Wedding Cookies

Happy National Sugar Cookie Day! Okay, okay, so maybe you couldn't care less about the confectionery holiday, but you need to like, clip and share this for your wedding. Especially for @DaniaChicago who is planning her own Tiffany Blue wedding for next year!
Sugar cookies (without all the frosting and glam accessories) are a food staple that I could live off of for the rest of my life. However, these powdery blue cookies are divine with the silver gilt embellishments, silver beads and pearl appliques.

@marshalledgar seriously good to know since I am coming up tot hat age where wedding season will start for my friends hahha don't want to accidentally choke on something that isn't suppose to be edible! Thanks so much i love your cards!
I am so glad you brought that up @LizArnone. Yes and No. Confusing, right? For these, yes, you can totally eat them. Totally safe. Easiest way to not be confused: Finger foods are edible. Cut/plated foods are not always edible, though they could be. Because sugar is opaque, it's near impossible to get the glitter effect from faceted candy. Therefore, much of the true glittering rhinestones that you see on cakes ARE NOT edible. Expert cake platers--yes, they exist--will often disrobe plated cake from the non-edible objects.
Sugar cookies are by far my weakness of all cookies. Not even chocolate chip can compare to the buttery sweetness of sugar cookies. These are stunning, though, I'd probably pick off the jubilee of glitz and glam.
omg these are beautiful! I almost wouldn't want to eat them...almost lol
Thanks for the tag @marshalledgar These are super cute cookies! OMG! Showing my mom right now!!! <3

The Christmas Latte to Rule Them All
I've talked about this cafe before, and I'll talk about it again. All That Sweets is hands down my favorite dessert cafe on Earth. Watch my video review here or read below^^ Today I went alone so I passed on a slice of the strawberry shortcake but look how adorable is it! Their cakes are always light and creamy, though the flavors change daily! I've seen chocolate, vanilla, and even kiwi cakes. Instead I opted for one of their amazing macarons. Because I came late in the day, my only option was the chocolate raspberry "merry xmas" heart macaron, but I probably would have chosen that anyway. These flavors also vary with the season but every single one I've ever tried has been absolutely delicious. But of course, the star of the show is my Christmas Tree Latte <3 Their lattes are amazingly intricate, and they have a dozen of them on the menu at all times. The homemade (delicious) whipped cream is covered in melted chocolate, sprinkles, and meringue cookies. I seriously thought I hated meringue until I tried these babies. Now I can't get enough! They sell these for the month of December, and then usually move on to make snowflake or other winter themed lattes. All year 'round they offer rose, raincloud, and even coral styled lattes! This year they also introduced a gingerbread man latte that I was tempted to get, but I had to stick to my traditional tree :) You can also find me here: Tumblr Instagram Twitter Facebook SnapChat: cari.cakez
Faking It On Valentine's Day
Here's a really cool idea for Valentine's Day: FAKE IT! For real! Guys can be either really lazy about V-Day or over-think it and determine to learn new skills, such as cooking, on one of the biggest hyped calendar dates in the year, February 14th. That's probably not the best approach to making the date night more than being memorable for being bad. Instead of trying to bake a cake or cookies, or dare yourself into making fudge, you could avoid a messy crisis and make your own Chocolate Dipped Strawberries. TRUST ME, IT'S EASY! You Will Need: Strawberries (washed and thoroughly dried) Candy Melts (pink and white) Chocolate chips (semi-sweet is best) Edible gold Edible glitter Edible embellishments (there's time to order from Amazon) Directions Melt the Candy Melts and chocolate (according to the package) in their own container/bowl. Dip strawberries into desired bowl and set aside. Drizzle a different color "melt" onto the dipped strawberries. Also, redip the strawberries in another "melt" at the tip and immediately dredge in edible glitter. Set these in a tray in the fridge and take out to de-chill a few moments before eating. These are fruity, gently sweetened with the chocolate and melts, and will look AMAZING with the edible embellishments!
