This is the easiest dinner you will EVER make. And so delicious, too!
Easy Caramelized Onion Pasta
Prep Time: 5 min. Cook Time: 15 min. Difficulty: Easy
Recipe adapted from MyFridgeFoods
Bread crumbs or panko
Extra virgin olive oil
1. Depending on how much you like caramelized onions (the extras are great for dressing up a sandwich!), chop one or two onions into strips. Heat a tablespoon or two of extra virgin olive oil in a frying pan over low heat. Caramelize onions.
2. Meanwhile, make the pasta according to directions on the box.
3. When the onions are almost finished, throw some bread crumbs into the pan with them. This adds texture and takes the place of salt.
4. Drain pasta and combine all ingredients, then serve and enjoy!
Note: Try adding some sautéed chicken for protein!
