From July 17th through the 19, thousands of fans will pile into Chicago’s Union Park for the Pitchfork festival. Attendees will be looking for good music and tasty brews. Chance The Rapper is looking to fill both voids.
While many know Chance for his tight bars, he also seeks to be remembered for crafting an awesome brew. Redeye Chicago reports that Goose Island’s brewmaster, Jared Jankowski, consulted the rapper by phone to come up with the 5.3 percent Helles-style lager.
The beer will be called No Collar. Goose Island says that it was made as per Chance’s wish to make a drink “for the hardworking people of Chicago” that would be “exactly what you want to drink after a long day of work.”
Chance The Rapper continues to set himself apart for the rest of the rap world.. in a good way. I can’t think of any rapper with their own lager. Cheers.
