Watch This Sumo Wrestler Get Stuck In A Giant Fly Trap.
How does a company prove the strength of their new bug traps?
Well, if you ask the team behind Japanese pest control company Earth Chemical, all you have to do is throw a sumo wrestler on it and film what happens next! Their new fly and roach trap, Gokiburi Hoi Hoi, uses extremely sticky adhesive - and to prove just how sticky it is, they created a human-sized one almost 930 times larger than the original! As researchers look on, the sumo wrestler hops onto the trap, but what happens next? Boom! Before he could take a second step, the wrestler takes a tumble to the ground. Annnnnd his nipple gets stuck. (Don't try this one at home, kids. That's definitely got to hurt.) You can watch the full commercial above if you're super curious, but my personal favorite related clip is the behind-the-scenes footage below. An entire team needs to help him off of the trap! The moral of the story here is that fly traps are serious business. Also, that you probably shouldn't torture sumo wrestlers with your weird experiments. They're people too!
So what do you guys think? Should more companies use sumos to test out their products?
