Sweet and Flavorful Red Wine Honey Chicken Marinade
A few summers ago, I lived with a girl whose Israeli mother made some of the most delicious chicken I have ever tasted. The recipe is crazy simple, and guaranteed to be a new family favorite!

All you need:

Honey, soy sauce, and red wine

What you do:

Take an ordinary kitchen glass like the one pictured above. Fill 1/4 of the way full with honey. Then, fill to the 1/2 line with soy sauce. Finally, fill the rest of the way with red wine. Whisk gently with a fork to combine.
From there, I usually pour into a large Ziplock bag, add several chicken thighs, and let them marinate for about 30 minutes. Then pour everything, chicken, sauce and all, into a glass baking dish and bake at 375°F for 30 minutes or until juices run clear. Alternately, you can empty the contents of the bag into a saucepan, cover, and simmer for 20-30 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink inside.
When it's done, the chicken will be tender, juicy, and flavorful. It'll also be a beautiful shade of purple! Serve hot with a spoonful or two of sauce, and round out the meal with rice pilaf and steamed veggies.

I love how incredibly easy this is. What's a standard glass size though? Around 12 ounces?
Hmm @danidee that's a great question. I generally just use one of those short drinking glasses! Which I'm guessing is a 12-14 oz glass, yes.
No prob. I just thought it was a cool idea and was making sure my glasses are standardish hahaha.
