[I'll be leaving little side notes xD hehe] Just when you thought there was nothing better than your favorite group releasing new music, they link up with members of another group and release an amazing collab track. In no particular order, here are 15 stunning collaborations you absolutely need on your playlist. Lee Hi – Special (feat. BLACKPINK’s Jennie) [Oh Jennie voice tho!] Years before her official debut, BLACKPINK’s Jennie lent her voice to a number of YG artists’ tracks. Much like her contribution on G-Dragon’s “Black,” Jennie makes this Lee Hi collaboration an easy essential. Sunmi – Frozen in Time (feat. GOT7’s Jackson) [OMG Sunmi and jackson beautiful!] Wonder Girls’ Sunmi turns heads when she releases solo title tracks like “Full Moon” and “24 Hours,” but you definitely can’t let her duet with GOT7’s Jackson slip under your radar. It’s slow, lush, and rhythmic – a perfect fit for both stargazing and late-night car rides. f(x) – Lollipop (feat. SHINee) [first off WHAT LOLLIPOP F (X)? SHINee? what!? I'm shook! lol] If there were ever two groups that needed to collaborate more often, f(x) and SHINee would be those groups. “Lollipop” is their first official track together, and it definitely makes you wish they’d collaborate more. Apink & B.A.P – Mini [Once again I'm shook!] Apink and B.A.P are two groups you’d never imagine together, but their joint track “Mini” still works. Aside from making you immediately want to buy everything they’re selling, the tune is a cute and catchy essential on all your favorite playlists. EXO’s Chen & Heize – Lil’ Something [just the title of the song caught my attention hehe] Can we all agree that STATION is the best concept to come out of SM Entertainment this year? EXO’s Chen and rapper Heize give us yet another hit in their collaboration STATION track “Lil’ Something,” produced by Vibe’s Jae Hyun Ryu. IU – Everybody Has Secrets (feat. Gain) [What?! man UI voice and Gain voice just perfect] IU joins Brown Eyed Girls’ Gain for a jazzy duet in “Everybody Has Secrets.” The tune is a great B-side track to IU’s “Modern Times” album, which includes another fantastic duet with SHINee’s Jonghyun MONSTA X – “Ex Girl (feat. MAMAMOO’s Wheein)” [Okay wait! first! MAMAMOO!! WHERE WAS I UNDER A ROCK WHY DIDN'T I HEAR THIS SONG BEFORE! second with monstaX what!?] Yet another example of why we need cross-company group collaborations. MONSTA X couples with MAMAMOO’s Wheein for a laidback track unlike their usual hard-hitting hip hop. f(x) – “Goodbye Summer (feat. EXO’s D.O.)” [Fx sure does alot of collaboration xD my squishy D.O!!] Continuing on with that same mellow feel, f(x) rejoins the list for their collaboration with EXO’s D.O on “Goodbye Summer.” Thanks to Amber’s lyricism, there’s even an English version, featuring Eric Nam. HyunA – “Just Follow (feat. Block B’s Zico)” [I lowkey ship them xD but their voice together is NIIICCEE] Although the official version features Dok2, you can’t help but love HyunA’s version with Zico for her live stages. The two rappers exude the same strong, daring confidence we know from their solo projects, and their song will leave you feeling just as bold BIGBANG – “Forever With U (feat. 2NE1’s Park Bom)” [I legit heard this song when I was barely getting into kpop and I semi like it but eventually ended up liking it. it's a good song] With the amount of classics G-Dragon, T.O.P, and Park Bom have under their belts, YG Entertainment might as well go ahead and make them an official subunit. This soulful tune from BIGBANG’s early days still deserves your attention eight years after its release VIXX – “You’re Mine (feat. Minah of Girl’s Day)” [Whatever the article said 100% agree xD] VIXX switches things up for their track “You’re Mine” with Minah of Girl’s Day. This easygoing track pairs Minah with the VIXX members, setting the perfect ambience for a carefree evening. BTS’s Suga – “So Far Away (feat. Suran)” [this song is new isn't? from the suga mixtape? I might be wrong idk] More than just a beautiful song, “So Far Away” is a transformative collaboration between BTS’s Suga and indie artist Suran that explores the uphill battle of having and achieving your dreams. T-ara & Supernova – “TTL (Time To Love)” [I've heard a couple of song from T-ara but not supernova. Tho this collaboration was good] T-ara and Supernova collaborate effortlessly in their 2011 joint track “TTL (Time To Love).” The groups work together so seamlessly, it’s almost like they’re one coed group. Jonghyun – “Love Belt (feat. Younha)” [OMG JONGHYUN VOICE YAS!] SHINee’s Jonghyun’s duet with Younha will definitely be your anthem for the fall. Calm and captivating, this track is the perfect addition to any and all of your lazy autumn days. Lee Hi – “World Tour (feat. WINNER’s Mino)” [yas talk about the perfect pairing] YG artists are no strangers to collaborating with their labelmates. This Lee Hi and Mino track is the perfect example of their artistry. Kpop idols are incredibly talented, but these girls on the guitar blooooow me away! I've always wanted to learn guitar but have put it off (I used to be able to play, like, one Beatles song) but these girls seriously inspire me to get my butt into gear and learn! So jelly of their skillz >.< RosĂŠ - BLACKPINK We see it in their new MV for Stay, but she's been known to play guitar since before debut! 11 steps in Korean Skincare
Aside from the basic cleansing, toning and moisturizing, Koreans perform additional steps for their skincare routine. Step #1 Pre-cleanse This step removes make up. Most people use oil cleansers as it helps in moisturising the skin. Step #2 Re-cleanse Use a cleanser depending on your skin type. Oily skin type use a foam cleanser while those with dry skin type prefer non foaming cleanser. Step #3 Exfoliate Done 2-3 times a week to remove dirt and dead skin cells. Step #4 Tone To balance out your skin's pH level and remove any excess residue. Step #5 Essence Basically a toner with an emulsion like texture. It keeps your skin moist and soft. Step #6 Serum/Ampoule More concentrated version of an essence which can be used to target specific needs like hydrating, brightening, etc. Step #7 Mask sheet Like exfoliation, this is done 2-3 times a week to keep your skin moisturized and nourished. Step #8 Eye cream To prevent wrinkles due to dryness of the skin. Apply just a light pressure by using your ringfinger and tap gently. Step #9 Emulsion Lightweight watery moisturizer that also helps in hydrating your skin. Make sure to allow it to absorb a bit before moving on to the next step. Step #10 Cream Make sure to extend down to the neck area in moisturizing. Step #11 Night cream Prevents every thing that you've applied to evaporate. Any additional steps you'd like to share? Ever wonder why koreans have young, vibrant looking skin? The answer is simple: proper skincare. There are three basic steps you need to follow. Step #1 Cleansing Use a cleanser that is suitable for skin type. If you have dry skin, you should use a cleanser that contains more moisturising ingredients. On the other hand, if you have an oily skin you should use a cleanser that is more on sebum control. Step #2 Toning Basically, toners work to balance the pH level of the skin. It also cleanses and removes any 'leftover' make up after cleansing. (Personally, I prefer Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner which also minimizes the appearance of pores. You can check out my review about it on my Make up & skin care collection) Step #3 Moisturize Moisturizing is important as it hydrates and gives nourishment to the skin. Remember that the primary cause of wrinkles is lack of moisture. So make sure to hydrate the skin on a daily basis. Most Koreans follow this trend. El 21 de Mayo a las 6pm, Google será el anfitrión de un concierto en el Mountain View, California, la sede cuenta con las presentaciones de las estrellas Kpop, incluyendo a los artistas de SM Entertainment, Girls’ Generation, TVXQ, Super Junior , como también KARA, SISTAR, MBLAQ, B2ST, y las Wonder Girls. Este evento será transmitido por MBC y ‘Google’. Será la primera vez que un concierto ‘Kpop’ se transmitirá en vivo no solo en un canal coreano, sino también por un portal de internet como Google, lo cual evidencia el incremento de la popularidad del Kpop por todo el mundo.
