Cute DIY Cork Charms

I went to Hobby Lobby and found a bag of corks which got me thinking about cute cork projects that I can do at home. Even though I am not into drinking wine or too much alcohol, I just found this idea too cute to pass up!
To get started you will need:
Wine corks (get in bulk on Amazon or in bags at craft stores)
Fine-point permanent marker
Numbers stencil
Brass beading hoops or wine glass charms wire (craft stores)
Chef’s knife
Slice the corks into rounds. Don't make them too thin or they will fall apart.
Stencil your numbers (or letters) onto the flat side of the cork rounds.
Using a nail and hammer, pierce a hole near the top of the flat side. This will allow you to string the wire through.
Attach to the wine glasses for easy demarcation.
This is something that I want to do for my wedding! It's not till next year, but it's super cute and I think would be a lot of fun. What are your favorite cork diy projects? I have an entire collection of projects related to chalk boards! Have you seen it? It's AWESOME. Click here to follow!
