Emmy Nominations Announced
Has anyone else ever noticed how dramatic the Emmy statue is?
Anyways, today Emmy award nominations were announced. I already made my case for who should be nominated, but as usual the TV Academy didn't listen to me (another reason I should be working there).
Drumroll please.....

Jeffrey Tambor, Transparent
I'm okay with most of these, and am mostly excited about Kimmy Schmidt making the list!!! And no offense to Big Bang Theory, I'm really glad Jim Parsons didn't make the cut for Outstanding Comedy Actor.
Now we just have to wait for September 20th to find out who wins!! Even if you're not a huge TV fan, you should tune in because the adorable Andy Samberg is hosting.

Are you excited about the nominations? Who else should have been nominated?

Most importantly, who do you want to win!?

@rodiziketan I just started watching Breaking Bad and I'm already hooked, so I'll have to watch Better Call Saul next

Yeah @LauraFisher Tatiana Maslany is INCREDIBLE in that show. Her accent work, her characters, it's incredible! Viola Davis and Claire Danes have done some amazing work as well though. Honestly I feel like it's going to be impossible to pick from that group because I'm rooting for all of them!

I know I feel like she should have been nominated before this year @shannonl5. She's my vote, but you're right there are a lot of awesome women in drama and comedy this year. It's going to be hard to choose, but I'm glad women are being better represented :)
