A lot of the time with K-Pop songs, the translations come out in different ways. The lyrics may be worded differently but mean the same thing.
I find it interesting how sometimes the artist leaves the opportunity for the listeners to relate to the song through their own way. They leave it open for discussion and do not give an absolutely defined scenario other than the feelings expressed from the lyrics.
With new popular music in the United States of America, it seems that it is not as visible as it is with some of the K-Pop songs. Older music from the United States has more meaning in my opinion. It just depends on who you listen to.
This isn't an "automatic assumption" post, but more of an "opinion" post. I do believe that it is all open to discussion and hope that others would share their opinions on this topic.
