Taylor Tomasi Hill, the street style star with the most awe-inspiring head of fiery orange hair, has worked everywhere from Marie Claire to Moda Operandi, and now runs TTH Blooms, the chicest boutique floral company based out of New York City. This master of layering has the most drool-inducing personal style, so I sought out to break it down and make it attainable.
Black and white stripes.
Queen of bold graphics, Tomasi Hill particularly loves stripes, especially when mixing textures and layering pieces. Stripes are that classic graphic that she manages to make new by using them to break up her body in interesting ways, like belting a scarf to add dimension.
Heavy knits + light skirts.
Tomasi Hill layers knits over everything to give a garment new life, and when it's cold outside (hard to imagine right now, I know), she opts for chunky and heavy knits over big and breezy skirts. Bright prints and light-looking skirts are made winter-appropriate worn over leggings and under turtlenecks. Who says poppy prints and the occasional bare leg needs to be saved for summer?
Crisp floral blouses.
Tomasi Hill loves bright florals, which now makes sense with her current job description, and never lets the print go out of style. Crisp button-down blouses can be tucked into anything and everything, tied at the waist or worn with a-line bottoms.
Leather skirts of every kind.
The number one it-girl tip to make a bold style look cool? Leather. Thomasi Hill is no stranger to this luxe and fresh medium, and wears leather skirts in the most ladylike cuts to keep us on our toes and keep the balance between fashion-forward and classic.
Can you tell that I'm obsessed? And you should be, too.
