Quick - someone calm my inner fangirl! It's been announced that Nick Carter (yes, that Nick Carter) is pairing up with the 'Sharknado' production team to direct his first movie - and he's casting members of Backstreet Boys AND N'Sync to star in it!
So far Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, and N'Sync's Joey Fatone are all on board, and Nick hints that even more N'Sync members - and even NKOTB's Jordan Knight - will possibly follow suit!
You guys, I can't even make this stuff up.
I know, I know. Neither can I, Canadian heartthrob, Ryan Gosling.
According to an article published in Rolling Stone earlier today, the movie is going to be called 'Dead 7', a film that Nick describes as a "a zombie Western futuristic horror movie", and the aforementioned men of my middle school dreams will star as a "ragtag band of gunslingers" fighting to save the world from this evil zombie plague.
Western? Zombies? The Future? And I thought the idea of N'Sync and BSB members actually being friends was going to be the difficult concept for me to wrap my head around.
Joey Fatone then said that, even if the movie ends up being a 'hokey' flop, at least all of the N'Sync and Backstreet Boys fans will be able to see their favorites working together:

"We've never done anything together collectively. People always think we're some sort of rivals. But it's so funny - there's never been animosity or anything like that. Now we're setting the record straight by doing a film together."

BSB + N'Sync love. I can respect that.
So the movie's still in pre-production, but who else already can't wait to watch this one once it finally hits the Syfy Channel next year?
(My teenage self is so embarrassed of me right now.)
I bet their choreography is a little stiff! (I did one @danidee)
Can't wait. so excited
@nicolejb Yesssssssss. I'm applauding.
@nicolejb There's so much need for boyband-related zombie puns right now, and yet my brain can't come up with any. Omg.
OMGOSH. I’m DYING to see this now...or I guess undying? undead? I tried
