Julie Sarinana, the blogger behind Sincerely Jules has a laid back but ever-trendy style that has rocketed her to blogger fame. The California native travels and goes on adventures, documenting her cooler-than-ice style along the way. I sought out to see how she does it, and what fashion tips and tricks Jules follows.
Sariñana is one of those lucky few who can pull off army green and camo print like they're just another denim alternative, making it her print of choice. Her wardrobe is full of camo pants, shirts, and jackets, and it's definitely making me rethink my former dislike of the print.
Dressed up shorts.
Living in California requires an appreciation for summer style staples like shorts, and Sariñana has mastered dressing up shorts to make them look cool and polished. Whether with a tailored blazer or vest, or just statement jewelry, she makes tiny cut-offs look almost office-ready.
A shirt tied around the waist.
One of Sariñana's favorite layering tricks for hot weather is tying a button-down shirt around her waist. From denim to plaid to, yes, camo print, she adds an interesting element to dresses or just a top and shorts combo with another layer hanging down around her hips. And when the temperatures drop, that's one more layer you can wear!
Dress down a look with sneakers.
One of Sariñana's casual staples is a great pair of sneakers, and she uses this sensible (but still stylish) shoe to dress down dresses, skirts, and to break up a monochrome look with a pop of neon. How else is she going to take those cobblestone streets in comfort?
I can't advise you on how to get her perfect ombré hair, but it's definitely the cherry on top of every perfect outfit.
