Always keep a fully stocked fridge with healthy foods from all five food groups. Establish balanced meals and snacks on a regular schedule. Eat healthy foods to set an example for your child to follow. Try to limit how many times you go out to eat. Encourage physical activity for at least an hour a day.
Limit and control electronic usage as much as possible.
Don’t reply on foods/snacks that claim to be "low sugar" and "fat free."
Never use food as a reward or comfort. Try not to introduce diets as a form of control.
Adopt positive lifestyle habits that become a family way of life.
