Picadillo is a classic and popular dish that you can find in many Latin American countries. What You'll Need:
1lb ground beef (90% lean)
1/2 green bell pepper (chopped)
1 small onion (chopped)
8 oz. tomato sauce
1/2 cup olives (pitted)
1/2 cup raisins
1 packets of sazon seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon sofrito (optional)
How To Make It:
1) With olive oil, pan cook chopped bell peppers & onions for about 3-min over medium-heat.
2) Add ground beef and sofrito to pan. Brown completely.
3) Stir in olives, raisins, tomato sauce, and sazon.
4) Cover pan. Reduce heat to low. Simmer for about 15 minutes.
Serve over rice.
