#FlashbackFriday: Nickelodeon Shows We'd All Watch As Adults
Sure, Nickelodeon is technically a kids channel, but there's plenty of shows that aired when I was younger that I'd totally still watch today. It might be love for the shows, it might just be nostalgia, but either way, I wouldn't mind hanging out with some of my old Nick friends.

Hey Football Head!

The neighborhood friendships, boarding house characters and unrequited love story of Helga and Arnold still sound like enough to entertain me. Hey Arnold is also one of those kids shows that has several adult jokes that are vague enough to go over a child's head, but obvious enough to make adults laugh.

Woogity Woogity Woogity!

Thinking about Rocket Power still makes me want to be more athletic. Watching this show would probably be mostly about nostalgia because hearing their West Coast '90s slang would take me right back to my early years. I know if I watched this show now my huge crush on Otto would come flying back, only this time it'd be a little inappropriate because he's like 13.

Bring in the dancing lobsters!

Still one of the best sketch comedy shows of all time, The Amanda Show would definitely make me laugh as an adult. Amanda Bynes had such a comedic gift: ridiculous faces, hilarious voices and awesome physical comedy. Judge Trudy, Hillbilly Moment, The Girls Room...the list of amazing Amanda Bynes skits goes on and on.

This is me, Eliza Thornberry, part of your average family!

I'm still into the concept of this TV show. When it aired, it was unlike any show on TV, and I don't think there's been much like it since. For any animal lover, this show was fun to watch, and for everyone else, Nigel and his gigantic nose brought tons of comedic relief.

Dear Journal, it's me Doug!

This one might also be simply for nostalgia, but Doug was the ultimate growing up story. He handled self-esteem issues, relationships, bullies and all the other tough stuff that comes with the early years of school. I remember relating to Doug and his friends so much growing up, and watching that now would just take me right back to my childhood.

@shannonl5 I don't remember that episode! But wow, definitely a bit of an intense topic for a kids show.
