Tequila drinks are awesome, but tender meat soaked in tequila and flamed over fire is the perfect way of how National Tequila Day should be celebrated. For churrasco, skirt steak is primarily used. It's inexpensive, great for grilling, and it's tender. The more rare you grill this meat, the more tender it is. That's what I call a perfection. Oh, and this is easy to make.
What You'll Need:
2lbs of skirt steak
1 cup olive oil
1/2 onion (sliced)
1/2 cup tequila
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon of sugar
Salt & pepper to taste
How To Make It
1) Rinse steak with cold water and dry with paper towel.
2) In a large bowl, add olive oil, onions, tequila, lime juice, salt, sugar, salt, black pepper. Marinade meat for 30 minutes.
3) Remove skirt steak from marinade. Grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side.
How To Make It Even More Awesome:
Pour yourself a tequila drink.
