Straight from Bryan Singer, the rumors that have been floating around the internet for the past month. “Those ideas are in play,” he says. “That would be a natural match-up because they’re both ensemble films and there is a natural mechanism by which to do it.” (via) So that's your potentially awesome news of the day!
For those who aren't as familiar with the superhero franchises, I outline the details in this card. Basically, even though Marvel created both the X-Men and the Fantastic Four, Marvel Studios no longer owns the film rights to the characters. Which means that you won't be seeing Wolverine in a Captain America movie any time soon. But because both teams are owned by the same company, there can be an X-Men/Fantastic Four crossover.

Because why not, right?

So okay. Aside from the teaser, Singer gave us basically nothing.

"It will have to do with time." Come ON bro!
Which means it's time to speculate wildly. The two teams have had crossovers in the past, and honestly if the universes in which they exist are connected, it only makes sense. If the world is in danger, the X-Men aren't going to sit it out while the Fantastic Four deal with it. Usually. So... do we think they're going to reference a story from the comics? Or try something new?
well that's interesting. would be something I would see if its done correctly and turns out good. so, yeah. got my vote.
@smnthcarter773 right! I think it has the potential to be really cool. It depends on the next Fantastic Four movie of course, we'll have to see how good that is I think
