They say girlfriends shouldn't have wife privileges. Well the same thing goes for boyfriends.

If you two have yet to say your vows and exchange rings -- certain things shouldn't take place. Although a ring doesn't signify much of anything at all, we all know culturally a wedding ring means that two people have devoted their lives and trust to one another. That moment you say "I do" everything changes, hopefully for the better -- but not a minute before that special moment should you be devoting your entire life to your significant other.
It's normal to be in love and it's quite normal for two people dating to move in together before they are married. Get over it, it's life and it happens every day. What isn't normal is getting used to living that "wife" lifestyle when you're still just the girlfriend and this is why many couples pump their breaks before agreeing to move in with one another. Moving in together can be one of the best decisions you'll ever make or easily one of the worst. It all comes down to figuring out what works best for the both of you. Don't give any too many marriage privileges before the wedding because once you're married the both of you will be used to pretty much everything. If you're considering moving in with your special lover boy, here are five things you should probably consider to make sure you're making the best decision for you.

Be Prepared To Wait On Your Man Hand And Foot

If you thought going out every night was going to be the lifestyle you lived once moving in together, think again. Although it is quite possible, the idea of having his lady right under his nose makes it easier for him to sit back and relax while you get your chef on in the kitchen. Talk about domestic girlfriend duties.

You'll Be More Prone To Having Arguments

Of course for the first couple of months things will be close to perfect -- that's how it always goes, but once the "honey moon" stage of moving in together has passed by those over the phone arguments quickly become in person arguments. Hanging up on him probably won't be an option.

You'll Learn Things You Probably Didn't Want To Know

I mean of course eventually you should know your significant other like the back of your hand, especially if marriage is in the picture -- but finding out certain habits and secrets too soon might put you off a bit. I guess for some, it's better to know earlier than later. Good luck with that.

Money And Bills Become A Mutual Situation

As if it wasn't bad enough trying to keep up with your own bills and savings. Deciding to move in together means splitting bills and sometimes agreeing on things that you would prefer not to agree on. Sometimes it's too soon and this is why certain roles are saved specifically or marriage, but if you're mature enough to handle it -- more power to you. Just make sure the two of you have come to a mutual understanding when it comes to expenses.

Your Feelings Might Change

As much as we don't want to think about the negative aspect of cohabitation, it's usually right there in front of your face. Living together may cause you to realize that being in a relationship right now isn't really what you want or it may become overwhelming causing you to fall back. According to various studies, "couples who cohabit prior to marriage have lower quality marriages, experience greater marital conflict, and have poorer communication that those who do not. The chances of having a successful marriage plummet when you cohabit prior to marriage."
Although the idea might sound good at the moment, just make sure you're truly ready to live up under each other. Sometimes waiting is beneficial -- at the end of the day, the choice is all yours.
@jordanhamilton so true!!
LOL!!!! your comment is so realistic though. A lot of women throw their entire life away for their man who obviously is still doing his own thing and has absolutely no problem doing so. at the end of the day, it all comes down to priorities and I think a lot of women (including myself) sometimes have theirs mixed up. We are all a work in progress though. Not too sure I would move in with my "imaginary guy" before marriage though, it's too risky @Tabbi
CTFU!!!! Lol I so love this card!! It's amazing how woman change their whole routine for a relationship while the man is still playing basketball with his boys, hitting the gym looking good for the club, while so many woman confused their roles and which titles from girlfriend to mother.... lol I be hearing woman complaining all the time about about catering to a man 24/7.... ... idk... but those things men do like the toilet pic, is too true and funny as heck... then they be singing Chris Brown song, please don't judge me.... smh!!! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
