Today is National Crème Brûlée Day!
Another fun food holiday is here! Today, July 27, is National Crème Brûlée Day! I know I'm an enormous fan of this creamy French dessert (or Spanish... or British... actually, there are quite a few different versions of the story of its invention).
To celebrate this creamy, delectable vanilla custard topped off with a crisp caramelized sugar top, I've done a roundup of Vingle's best crème brûlée recipes. Which one do you most want to try? (Warning: it's very difficult to choose just one!)
Coconut Crème Brûlée Cheesecake by @vegantraveler – A tropical twist on a traditional favorite.
Faux Chocolate Crème Brûlée by @miranpark88 – This one is SO easy to make! And uses a broiler instead of a kitchen torch.
White Chocolate Crème Brûlée by @clochette – I've never tried a white chocolate version, but I'd like to! Sounds wonderful.
Abby's Chocolate Crème Brûlée Cookies by @alexicon – Cookies?! People really get creative in their dessert merging! These are a must-try.
Vegan Crème Brûlée Baked Oatmeal by @danidee – This one looks like a delicious breakfast, plus no torch necessary!
Maple Crème Brûlée with Hazelnuts by @maymay75 – I love the autumnal vibe that this one brings to the table.
Classic Vanilla Crème Brûlée by Yours Truly – You can never go wrong with the classic recipe à la française.
Crème Brûlée Cocktail also by Yours Truly – All of the deliciousness of the dessert, now in drinkable (and alcoholic) form! ;D

Creme brulee is one of my all-time favorite desserts! I'm going to have to celebrate later. ;) Also thanks for shouting out my baked oatmeal recipe! It's my favorite way to eat baked oatmeal.
