This DIY tutorial transforms a plain, collared blouse into a unique shirt with just a few steps, and there is no sewing involved. This project comes from the creative people at Fashion Follow.
The best part about this tutorial is that it uses stuff that you have lying around and don't need: CDs! All you need for this tutorial is a collared blouse, a few CDs, scissors, fabric glue and a towel.
Prepare the CDs
Fill a pot with water and boil the water. Place the CDs in the boiling water for about 5 minutes. Carefully remove the CDs and let them dry on a towel. Then, cut each CD in half.
Make the embellishments
Peel the clear overlay from the CDs. Then cut the CDs into smaller triangles.
Glue the embellishments onto the shirt
Use the fabric glue to attach the CD triangles onto the collar of the shirt.
