We never know what's going through our adoring Idols heads, but I thought of something today whilst listening to music and scrolling through Vingle.
Some people can't understand exactly how to step out of your own point of view and look into someone else's. Don't take that the wrong way. It doesn't make you stupid or insensitive. It's a difficult thing to do. I didn't learn how until I was in my last year of high school.
I try my hardest to see from idol's point of view, minus the fame of course. I couldn't imagine the amount of stress there is to get schedules done and keep your fans happy. It takes a toll on our idols.
Believe it or not, they're insecure with certain things. Insecurity can be in other forms than just looks. Its our duty to show our idols how much they mean to us. We don't exactly know their lives before fame. They could have gone through horrible things before and/or during their rise to fame.
With that point being made, I try my best not to judge actions of idols so rashly. We're not on a personal level with them and I'm sure there are certain reasons for their actions. BUT, that doesn't excuse some of the things done. Me being a sensitive peraon, I can understand making dumb choices when upset.
When our idols are happy, we're happy. When they're sad, we're sad. We're so connected with them in ways some people outside the kpop world can't understand.
So, let's take this as a lesson not to judge right away okay?
Let's all just celebrate that they deal with the hate and harsh things of this world to keep performing for us.
As for the haters, they need to realize that we are all humans. Mistakes are made. Changes happen. You have to learn to accept the bad with the good. Because if you think about it...without the bad, we wouldn't know what good felt like.
