Not too great of a mood
I've been thinking a lot about myself and my life. I've always wanted to be a singer but Youtube never worked out for me. I'm chubby so I don't think I'll ever find a man to love me. My confidence is completely low. Kpop makes me feel good but lately its been getting worse. I can't look in the mirror and be happy anymore. I don't know what to do.

I got some great advice from one of my guy friends forever ago....If you don't like what you see or how you feel, change it. I think I actually told him, "Thanks, a$$h*le....that's great advice." I thought he was being insensitive....and maybe he was but after some thought....it made a lot of sense. When I'm feeling lower than low, I force myself to change it. Whether I'm feeling like a heffer that day or I can't stand my face that day or I'm just hating on myself in general....I choose to either do something to help the problem like get my hair and makeup did or workout or I'll force myself to change my mindset because we only are who we are....we can't be anyone else. This is all we have to work with so we have to make the best of it. Truthfully....it's hard but trying is the key. If you do allow yourself to let these feelings consume you, you'll drown. If singing is what you wanna do....do it. Practice every day. Write your feelings in to lyrics. Put the negative energy into something positive. Beauty is all about perspective. If you're doing things that make YOU feel good and make YOU happy....you'll feel prettier...trust. It sounds like bull but it works. Do you, baby girl and take care of YOU first.

Girl. I'm sure that you are amazing just the way you are. I've never been confident either (to the point that my teachers used to tell my parents during meetings). I can't say that I am oozing with confidence but like @ErinGregory said the point is the love yourself and be happy with who you are even though it may be tough. As for your dream of becoming a singer, if you've got the voice go for it. Chase your dreams, you'll regret it if you don't. As a child my dream was to become an actress but my parents said no so that was the end of it. I once had an opportunity to take acting classes since I was scouted (I guess?) but I wasn't allowed to go. There isn't a day that I don't regret not sticking up for myself and pursuing my dream. Keep your chin up, things may not get better right away but some day things will get better. This is coming from someone who has gone though and is surrounded by people going through depression. If you ever need someone to talk to I'm here and I don't judge

P.S. I'm not going to say confidence is key (I'm not a very confident person), but it is important to love yourself. If you want to see a change, then go make that change. If you like who you are, then fuck everyone else (pardon the language), it's your life, your body. You don't need anyone's approval. You will find someone who loves every bit of YOU, so until then you should try loving you as well. :-) <3

Don't be upset because you're chubby or anything. There are a lot of guys out there who doesn't care about shit like that and/or they actually prefer bigger girls. Personally, I don't like guys who judges a girl solely on her weight (same goes opposite, I don't like girls who judges a guy based on his weight either). It's not fair to judge people because of what they look like, it's about their personality and who they are as a person. I get wanting to be a singer, however that takes a lot of talent and hard work. If you really want to try to pursue that, try taking lessons :-) If you're not very good at singing (my life *cries*) then unfortunately, that wont be able to be an option. Society is cruel and if a person who isn't really talented tries to be up there with the really talented, people will lash out. Hell, people lash out even at those who ARE really talented. But I think you should at least try talking to a coach or something if that's really what you want to do. I think it's important to pursue your dreams, give it all you've got, even if everyone is against you.
