Who would have ever thought to combine light pink and brownish-gold woven flax to create a punch of fuchsia for a wedding?! I ask because I would have never put this together in a million years. Ever. Maybe that's why Colin Cowie is the pro and not me! I DO LOVE IT THOUGH!
I love how the table isn't even finished being set, yet it looks utterly remarkable. The table linen is covered in a blush pink cotton with a long runner of linen, though it could be silk too. The tablescape gets some rich texture through mahogany framed menus, olivine Czech glasses and beautiful bursting buds and blooms of fuchsia peonies.
Notice how the entire look is understated, sophisticated and has an air of effortless luxe. This is CLASS! Not one piece of this is over-produced. There aren't towering topiaries, chandeliers, mirrors or even chiavari chairs! Splendid and on point! Or as the kids say, on fleek!
