"We just want her to be happy."
Khloé Kardashian sat down for a Skype interview with Australia's The Project to discuss Caitlyn Jenner on Thursday. Though Khloé has been noted by Caitlyn as the daughter who has taken the transition the hardest, she seems optimistic. She mentioned that Caitlyn's journey was a "beautiful thing" however there were a lot of "raw emotions" during the transition. The Kardashians and Jenners have faced an unbelievable amount of press the past few weeks in regards to Caitlyn as they try to get through this constantly changing time.
"I think what people don't seem to remember is that, this is our real lives and that a lot of these things we are experiencing in real time," Khloe said. "I think there was a hard time for the entire family, that we were all transitioning with her, but in front of an audience, I think that's not really the normal way to go about it, you know."
However, one surprising fact is that the daughters still refer to Caitlyn as 'Bruce'.
"We, my sisters and I, we will call Caitlyn 'Bruce' and we've been told that's completely fine."
Khloé mentioned that she doesn't like to think of 'Bruce' as being gone especially when she still has the same voice when talking over the phone.
"And she has told us, we are allowed to call her any name we want to. Because on the phone, when she calls me, it's the same voice as Bruce. And if I'm not physically with her, it's hard to remember in the moment that I'm talking to Caitlyn, if that makes sense."
