Former Editor in Chief of Lucky Magazine and Instagram's new head of fashion partnerships Eva Chen has the most fun and approachable sense of style despite her body being constantly covered in designer labels. The former fashion writer takes fashion risks while maintaining a recognizable style, which only got better with her recent pregnancy this last year. Do you want the Eva Chen look? Of course you do! Find out how to get it below.
White tops and leather skirts.
Chen is a big fan of stark black and white looks, and also has a wardrobe full of black leather skirts (what true fashionista doesn't?). She breaks up her frame and contrasts top and bottom with tees, blouses, and sweaters in white to offset her black skirts.
Chen maintains an interesting balance of black, white, and color all over, but she tops off a look any season with a light-catching metallic jacket. From moto jackets to puffer coats, she has a crinkly metallic outer layer for any look.
Chunky sweaters and short skirts.
Chen doesn't mind piling up knits and boxier tops, but she often does so in pairing with a short hemline on bottom. Her long legs bare, a heavier knit on top compensates and strikes an interesting balance of proportions.
Chen layers in a more uncommon way than most; her choice layering piece is a turtleneck tee or sweater of any sleeve length, worn under dresses, tops and vests. This more modest approach keeps her covered but also highlights her angular bob in the coolest way.
Maybe it's her effervescent personality or maybe it's her ability to capture the perfect Instagram photo, but Chen is both the woman we all want to befriend and the fashionista we all want to dress like.
