Cooked pears filled with fig and cherry jam with sour cream on the side
Here is another idea of making your lunch different from the usuall. This goes well with beef stew and "pastetke" that I posted yesterday.
You basicly cut in half your pears, cook them til soft, fill them whit a jam of your choice (if you ask me, they are best with cranberry jam) and let people top it with some sour cream.
It is so delicious, fresh and fruity and it goes well with stews and sauces. And it makes a meal even richer.
