Preparing tasty beans takes a bit more effort than scrapping them out from a can. Although, making great black beans are actually pretty easy to make. I hope you have your white rice ready, because you'll want that with these perfect black beans!

What You'll Need:
1 can of black beans
1/2 small onion (chopped)
1/2 green bell pepper (chopped)
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 bay leaf
Salt and pepper to taste
How To Make It:
1) Heat oil in medium heat.
2) Cook garlic in oil for about 15 seconds. Stir in onion and green bell peppers.
3) Cook and stir for 10 minutes.
4) Pour all contents from can of black beans.
5) Simmer into thick -- about 15-20 minutes.
