Amazing Model With Down Syndrome Proves Society Wrong

Proving society wrong is the first step, and that's exactly what she did.

Madeline Stuart form Australia appears to be your average vibrant, energetic eighteen year old -- which is true, the only difference is that Madeline suffers from Down Syndrome. Down Syndrome for those who aren't familiar is a chromosomal condition that results in weak muscles and facial appearance. Madeline doesn't allow this one stepping stone hold her back from accomplishing her dreams in life.
She recently reached her goal of losing weight and decided that she would bring awareness to the Down Syndrome community by pursuing a career in modeling -- and that's exact what she did. She has gone on to sign with two companies (one clothing and one cosmetic) and she is proving to women all over the world that dreams do come true. She posted on her Facebook page saying, "Modeling will help change society's view of people with Down Syndrome, [and] exposure will help to create acceptance in life."
These amazing images of Madeline will blow you away. She's gone with the wind fabulous.

“She knew that she was formed by God's hands, dreamed up in His heart and placed in this world for a purpose.”

“The very things that held you down are going to carry you up and up and up!”- Dumbo, Walt Disney.

“Down Syndrome, it doesn’t mean I’m down, it means I help people who are feeling down. My smiles are contagious, my laugh is medicine for the heart, my hugs are heavenly, and my heart itself is pure gold.”

“When you focus on someone's disability you'll overlook their abilities, beauty and uniqueness. Once you learn to accept and love them for who they are, you subconsciously learn to love yourself unconditionally.”
