Fashionistas and celebrity fans alike love pouring over red carpet fashion to pick their favorite gowns and critique the misses. The world of red carpet is cutthroat, and no one is safe from the scrutiny of a poor outfit choice. What about the dresses that you either love or hate? These five looks divide spectators between the love and hate camps, and if you haven't formed an opinion yet on them, get on board.

First is the Givenchy gown that Beyoncé wore to the 2013 Met Gala, complete with matching gloves and boots. She's definitely won the Met Gala dressing game on many occasions, but this year was a toss-up. For the "Punk: Chaos to Couture" theme, Beyoncé made a statement that wasn't decidedly punk or anti-punk, but was divisive nonetheless.

Katy Perry wore a wild outfit by Moschino to the 2015 Met Gala, discarding the "China: Through the Looking Glass" theme altogether. The look is undeniably bold and different, but is it amazingly crazy or just plain ugly? From the fingerless gloves to the spray-paint can purse, it's definitely out there.

Marion Cotillard looked ever beautiful in Dior at the 2015 Oscars. Though she can pull off almost anything, this dress which verged on a sack silhouette cinched under her rear, making a strange shape overall that most might not call flattering (despite Cotillard's undeniably killer figure). Was this a win or a loss for you?

Solange wore this puzzling Giles mini to the 2015 Met Gala, leaving everyone's jaw dropped- but out of horror or amazement? This disco ball-stingray of a dress was definitely a love it or hate it look for everyone. No one knows how she moved in that thing, or if it qualifies as a dress to begin with, but plenty her for pulling such a daring move, and plenty didn't.

And finally, we have Rihanna's barely-there, Swarovski-covered gown by Adam Selman, which she wore to the 2014 CFDA awards. Was it gutsy of her to wear a nearly-nude dress to accept the award of fashion icon of the year? Or in poor taste? Do you love her body confidence or just wish she would cover up a little?

What do you think? Do you love or hate these crazy dresses?
