I may not be a pro at baking cake from scratch...and I may do my best cake decorating with store-bought frosting...but I am all about cute cake toppers! I love this idea because I can control the level of cuteness with these and can be as creative as I like! You can do it too!! <3

Supplies Needed:

oven bake clay
alphabet and number cookie cutters
rolling pin-parchment paper-bamboo skewers
acrylic paint and paintbrush
hot glue or super glue
Turn your oven on and set it according to your oven bake clay manufacturer's instructions. Then roll out your clay between two sheets of parchment paper until it's about 1/4" thick or more.
Punch out your letters and numbers and place them on a piece of parchment paper. Put that on top of a cookie rack before placing them in the oven according to manufacturer's instructions.
Once they're ready, remove from oven and let cool. Paint with your favorite colors and then glue the bamboo skewers to the back.
I really like the idea of using donuts as a makeshift cake/dessert. This is useful when you're at work. It's a great way to start the day in the morning with breakfast donuts and well wishes for a birthday party later! For more DIY crafts that you will love, click here.
