We've entered that strange and exciting few weeks in the beginning of the season where the transfer window is still open, and teams are playing matches at the same time.
That means clubs are working overtime to prepare for matches and keep an eye out for potential transfers.

We've heard countless rumors about the teams we expect to be toward the top of the EPL - which of these transfers would be most influential?

Karim Benzema to Arsenal

Could Benzema link up with his French international teammate Olivier Giroud at Arsenal?
It's looking likely. Benzema is an absolute goal-scoring beast and would be a massive signing for the Gunners, especially given their need for depth at central striker. Giroud is not always at his best; what's more, he's the only true striker Wenger seems to trust, with Danny Welbeck having regressed big time in the past two seasons. Signing Benzema could be a big step in Arsenal's chances of making a push toward the title.

Kevin de Bruyne to Manchester City

De Bruyne is a former Chelsea youth player who is coming off an outstanding season at Wolfsburg in Germany. City have been linked with him all summer but nothing concrete has come of it as of yet. News surfaced today that City are hopeful of finally closing the deal as soon as the middle of this week. De Bruyne is an amazing creative midfielder who would go a long way to keeping David Silva healthy and fresh throughout the season as City compete in multiple competitions. He could be a major City player for years to come if they land him.

Pedro to Manchester United

Pedro is a world class winger at Barcelona - no one would dispute that. He's proven himself time and time again despite many saying he is nothing more than a fringe player. But, at times he's given Barca manager Luis Enrique a headache selection because his form has been that good. He is not old, but his experience could be a huge asset to youngster Memphis Depay as Depay looks to make his name at United. Pedro would be a hit in the Premiership and could propel United to a title challenge.
