How To Make Feather Boutonnieres
I didn't think about this until just recently: boutonnieres! I want the guys to look great, but I've never been happy with large flowery boutonnieres. It's great for some, perhaps, but I'd like something more masculine and something more unique also. What do you think about doing something different? I did a search on Vingle on the subject and I found a couple great cards by @MarshallEdgar, which you can see here. It gave me some ideas of my own.
With a bit of washi tape and your decorative elements, you can create just about ANY CREATIVE BOUTONNIERE YOU WANT!

Step 1:

Choose feathers and accent pieces in your colors. I used some berry garland too. You can get these off of Etsy or at your local craft store.

Step 2:

Gather the pieces and arrange them exactly how you want them to look on your boutonniere.

Step 3:

Using washi tape bind the feathers together at the base. Be sure they are all secure in the adhesive and will not slip out!

Step 4:

You’re done. Just use a floral pin to pin your boutonniere to a piece of paper.
TIP: Mark the papers with names so that you know which boutonniere belongs to whom.
