It's the September Issue.
Everyone who's anyone knows that the September issue is the most prestigious magazine edition every year for Vogue. You can't just be anyone to land on the cover. However, it's no surprise that Beyoncé, also known as Queen B, was selected this year. The news of her being selected came as a bit of surprise when the cover was leaked online. However, She's the most honored name in the music industry and has a wider fan base around the world than most other stars so it'd be hard to keep the cover a secret. She doesn't need constant media attention, Beyoncé just IS. There's never a ton of information that we know about her, she remains a very secretive yet public profile. She's married to Jay Z and has a daughter named Blue Ivy. She lives a life of luxury and has been criticized for carelessness to wasting it. She has a sky scraper inspired by her. She's unstoppable.
Beyoncé wore Marc Jacobs on the cover of the 2015 Vogue September Issue.
Beyoncé has become a world wide symbol for feminism and women empowerment. From songs such as "Girls (Who Run The World)" to "Single Ladies", there's no one standing in her way. She's won countless awards, is the highlight at every major red carpet event, and can easily hit millions of views on a YouTube video that was recorded using an iPhone.
"She’s the whole package: primal, rare, delicate, beautiful, and powerful." -Stella McCarthy
Vogue has named her powerful and noted that her best asset is her body. Beyoncé not only commands her presence but does it in a way that seems so effortless. With the fashion world constantly changing, it's no wonder that celebrity is the heart of the industry nowadays. The stars of today dictate the run way and the most famous models in the world are famous more for their social media presence than being on a billboard. But Beyoncé doesn't need any of that fluff, she's just known to be the BEST.
"There is a magnetic presence to her." - Ricardo Tisci
She's the world's biggest and most beloved DIVA.
Along with the upcoming September issue, Beyoncé also did a vintage video. It's a reflection of class, opulence, and gorgeous sex appeal. It has a somewhat other-worldly look to it while remaining engaging. Everyone can't stop watching Beyoncé and with the upcoming and highly anticipated VMA's approaching that are stringing along controversy, it'll be a spectacle to see how many awards she can attain against powerhouses such as Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj. However, what Beyoncé has that no one else does is a cover on the front of Vogue's September Issue and THAT'S AMAZING.
"The word diva is used for so many female performers, and it often means they have reputations for being difficult, but she exudes charm and a lovable quality," Marc Jacobs said.
