Maybe I just had my head under a rock last year when this was going on, but I just found out about a really cool campaign Clif Bar ran last year called #MEETTHEMOMENT.
Basically, they had 20 different packages that all had a different adventure challenge on them. You were supposed to send out a pic on social media with the hash tag meet the moment to spread infectious adventure spirit!
Through the sales related to the Clif Bar packaging that had this one them, they had some pretty awesome results!
Each month, June 2014 - December 2014 a different non-profit was selected to receive the donations. The donations totaled $82,122.00.
June: International Mountain Biking Association // July: American Whitewater // August: Leave No Trace // September: Surfrider Foundation // October: Access Fund // November: Winter Wildlands Alliance // December: Protect Our Winters
Even though this specific campaign is over, I've actually still seen some #MEETTHEMOMENT bars floating around, and I'm just going to take it upon myself to do the 20 challenges.
